Smith gave an address to a National Security Group of Capitol Hill staffers and outside policy experts that meets on Capitol Hill organized by Ed Corrigan, of the Senate Steering Committee and Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy. At the lunch, Smith gave a presentation on the troubled U.S.-Pakistan relationship and the state of future relations.
