AFPC Hosts Luncheon to Discuss Fact-Finding Trip to Russia

AFPC hosted the House International Relations Committee’s top Russia specialists to discuss their recent fact-finding trip in Russia. Majority Professional Staff Member Mark Gage and Minority Professional Staff Member Cliff Kupchan addressed an October 3 AFPC luncheon on:
the status of political and economic reform in Russia, including key Russian regions;
relations between Moscow and the regions and the nature of Russian Federalism; and
the future of U.S. assistance policy.
The luncheon was attended by several House and Senate staff and representatives from the State Department, Agency for International Development, Central Intelligence Agency, and the Center for International Private Enterprise.
