Richard M. Harrison
Research Fellow and Program Officer

Richard Harrison joined the American Foreign Policy Council in July 2008 as a Research Fellow and Program Officer.  He currently serves as co-editor of AFPC's Missile Defense Monitor e-bulletin and co-editor of AFPC's new e-journal, covering national security and defense issues, the Defense Dossier.

Harrison, a former intern at AFPC, completed his Masters degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University and also holds a Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a language certificate in elementary Mandarin Chinese from Peking University. Previously, he worked as a legislative intern for the United Nations Foundation. He is also a former employee of Lockheed Martin where he functioned as a systems engineer.
