Anna Hardage joined AFPC in September 2024. Her work covers European domestic and foreign policy, as well as NATO and transatlantic defense and security initiatives. Prior to joining AFPC, Anna served in the U.S. Senate, most recently working as a foreign affairs advisor for Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK). In that capacity, she worked on Senator Cotton’s foreign policy portfolio, drafting legislation and amendments relevant to U.S. engagement abroad. Before her time in the Senate, Anna worked at the Germany-based Transatlantic Networks, in the United States Consulate in Leipzig, Germany, and the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Bonn. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Bonn, Germany, as well as a Master of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
