Amanda Azinheira rejoined AFPC as Fellow for Eurasia in July 2025. A former AFPC Research Fellow and Program Officer, she has over a decade of experience working on foreign policy and international relations issues in both the private and public sectors. Her work has appeared in Defense News, Forbes, The National Interest, and U.S. News and World Report. She has worked as a Research Analyst at the consulting firms RWR Advisory Group and Janes, where she analyzed Russian and Chinese geoeconomic influence across the world. Most recently, she served as a Humanitarian Assistance Officer within USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, where she managed multiple emergency assistance and development programs in several countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ukraine.
