AFPC hosts China’s CCCPC International Department delegation

On November 13, AFPC hosted a six-person delegation from China’s CCCPC International Department in Washington, D.C. led by Vice-Minister Guo Yezhou. The dinner was attended by AFPC President Herman Pirchner, Amb. Richard McCormack, Dr. Dov Zakheim, Mr. Wayne Merry, Joe Schmitz, former Inspector General at the Department of Defense, and a staffer from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The Chinese delegates and American participants discussed the U.S. reaction to the recent election, how U.S. foreign policy may differ under a new administration, and potential areas of conflict and cooperation between the U.S. and China.
