On April 16th, AFPC Director of Defense Technology Programs Rich Harrison organized and chaired an AFPC briefing held for congressional staff members on Space Security and Defense. The main presentation was given by Mr. Eric Sterner, who is a Fellow at the George C. Marshall Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Missouri State University. Previously he served at NASA and the Department of Defense, and held senior staff positions for the House Armed Services and Science Committees. Mr Sterner's talk focused on an assessment of U.S. space security, the weaponization of space, and missile defense.
