Smith and Eisenman were joined by Svante Cornell of the Central Asia Caucasus Institute (CACI), which recently merged with AFPC and migrated to our Capitol Hill headquarters.

The event was moderated by Foreign Policy magazine editor David Wertime. Eisenman, Smith, and Cornell each offered presentations on the geopolitical implications of OBOR in general, and specifically its impact on China domestically, on South Asia and the Indian Ocean region, and on Central Asia.v
