From June 21-23, AFPC's CACI and the Rumsfeld Foundation hosted the seventh annual CAMCA (Central Asia-Mongolia-Caucasus-Afghanistan) Regional Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan. The CAMCA Forum builds on the alumni network of the joint Young Leadership Program, which brings rising leaders in business and government work from the countries of Central Asia, Mongolia, the Caucasus, and Afghanistan to Washington. The network is unique in being cross-regional, uniting increasingly influential and pro-American figures in a region that is among the least connected in the world. Through the CAMCA Forum, the alumni network interfaces with leading policymakers, scholars, business figures, and representatives of international organizations, in what is gradually emerging as a kind of "Davos" of Central Eurasia.
